TPC what are your thoughts on Aspartame?Anyone can become angry - that is easy, but to be angry with the right
person, to the right degree, at the right time, for the right purpose,
and in the right way, that is not easy.

I didn't, I was afraid it would fizz all over my desk &/or taste bad.
I'll ck out the article.
I did put it in my Pudding Pak :p KR bought some for the kids & they were just sitting there calling my name. So I rationalized that if I put protein powder in one, that I could eat it.
It was pretty funny to watch me spooning in the powder, having it fall out onto my desk. Eat some......spoon some more in......
LOL.....I got a 1/2 scoop into that lil thing.Comment

i personally use stevia, its all natural and adds no calories. we are also contemplating if we should start offering xylitol for a sweetener as well.

I don't know about the protein but I have mixed a can of tuna in with a half a diet pepsi. I'll never do that again. The taste was manageable but the cleanup was terrible. I have a phobia of dirty dishes and no matter how much I cleaned that blender, it never seemed to be all the way clean. Please tell your boobs to quit staring at my eyesComment

stevia is an herb from south america. it has been used for century's as a sweetener. it is considered a dietary supplement and not a sweetener by the FDA. this is solely based on the economics of all of our other favorite sweeteners (a totally different story in its self) and these companies worrying stevia will take away from their business, which it would if it ever passed as a food product. so with that being stated, you will not find this in a food store, but a health food store etc.
we offer it as a sweetener, and personally it is all i use. it is not chemically derived and only a little is needed to sweeten anything, as well it has a zero caloric value.
check your pm, krl.
