This will allow you to control the exact font type, font size, font color and text appearance (my example includes bold type) of what you are writing, at least where HTML is concerned.
However, as the HTML code on this site is off (which is done as a safety feature against malicious code), you need to use vB Code, which is a modified, simpler version of HTML that has been developed for use on vBullettin pages such as this.
Thus, in your case, your signature should be written in the following manner:
Note that:[list=1][*]You have to remove all the * from the code for it to be read correctly by the vBullettin translator. I added the * so you could read the exact line of code as it is supposed to be written; otherwise it would just have output the text in formatted form.[*] #FF0000 refers to the exact shade of red that I want to use. If you are not particular about your shades you could always use the word "RED" instead of the HTML code for the color and you would get the default shade of red.[*]I have made the email link into a direct link so that all one would need to do is click on it and the default mail program will launch with the destination email already in it.[/list=1]
