Unemployment?

Can you collect by getting fired? I know you get to collect if your get laid off.

I know my work is a "at will" employer. I also know we go through hell with corrective actions before fireing people.

Can anyone shed some light on this matter? With the correct answer, jaywooly may have much more time for posting here.
