How many are watchig the game tonight? I am an alumnus of U Maine so you can bet I will be supporting the team. Shoudl be a great game, Maine has the 2 best collge goalies in the country as demonstrated when they beat Boston College in the semi's on Thursday....shots on goal for BC 44 Maine 18 and Maine still pulled it off 2-1.

I'll watch some of it, but I'll spend most of the time on the NHL playoffs.
Heckman - I don't believe there is too much fighting the college hockey. I think it's a game misconduct if they do. Also, they wear caged helmets so I think the fight would suck. lol!!

No its very rare to see a fight in college hockey, it will get the player ejected so they tend not to go that far with it. I go to a few of the home games at Maine and I can not remember whe I ever saw a fight like you see in NHL, maybe some pushing & shoving here and there but mostly just good hockey. The game is on ESPN, I expect it to be a good one.Comment

Sorry to see U of M lose tonight. I flipped back and forth during the game, but watched the final 5:00. I couldn't believe the two foolish penalties Denver took towards the end, I figured Maine was gonna score easily. Somehow that kid from Denver made a couple of good saves.
Very exciting end of the game though.

definitly not the best game I have ever seen. Although i did find the last 2 minutes exciting due to the 5 on 3 (6 on 3 actually). Overall low shots on goal by both teams, mostly a bunch of skating back and forth....oh well.....Jay, they're are usually much better than that.Comment
