    Hey Everyone, Just want to introduce myself. I see some familar names too so I guess I don't feel like a total stranger. I'll be on here bugging Skip with questions as he gets me ready for the Canadian nationals.

            homonunculus: The Canadian Nationals is a pro qualifier. It's no cake walk either. Lots of great competitors....some that come back year after year to take the title.

                  welcome silverback. i saw your pics that dc posted, and it inspired me big time! i was thinking i would be content if i hit 225lbs, now i want to be 250+. anyway, good to have you here bro.

                        As I thought. Didn't know if you were competing in another association. I'm sure its just like the US amat. scene were there are a half-dozen or so top guys in each weight class that have been around for several years and could come in and take it all...

                        So it sounds like your opportunities for pro qualifiers for Canadian citizens are the Can. Nat's, The World Amateurs and the N. Americans?...

                          Yes homonunculus, those are my options. I think I might try the North Americans if I do a good showing at the Canada's.
