  • True protein to match Pro Complex

    I was just wondering if anyone knew how to make a true protein blend the same as pro complex. Don't know if it can be done.

      I just like the pro complex blend. I only drink about one shake a day and honestly it is about all I can handle. I like food way to much. I just found that I like the pro complex and noticed that Dante recomended it in the past. But if there is a blend that your think is really good post it up. I just need a middle of the road for a meal during the day. I have clinicals in the afternoon so i need to slam a drink with a cup of oats. I wanted to try the true protein and see how I like it.

        OK..during the day what a lot of guys are doing is straight WPI (Whey Isolate).You are correct, Dante did used to do Pro Complex but now I believe that he's switched to WPI during the day and PWO and a milk protein at night

          Cool thanks. I have never really got into protein drinks and the science behind them. I mean I new there were different blends and what not but I never got into the whole whey isolate or casine etc. etc.

            N8IA, It's all about absorbtion and assimilation and having different requirements at different times of day etc....Not to get into a long drawn out protein thesis..what a lot of us are doing is a Whey Isolate during the day and especially post-workout (these are the times when a faster acting protein is what we're looking for) and some kind of milk protein blend later in the day and at night....when you want a protein that absorbs much slower...Remember, the time you are asleep is/should be the longest you go without eating so having a milk based protein in your system works well here as you get those amino acids entering your bloodstream over a longer peroid of time.....
