Jr. USA's

Jr. USA's were held in Stafford, Texas this past weekend. It's the first time that this contest takes place at this location, as well as this late in the year. There wasn't a very large turnout, but the show was very well run, the weather nice, and hopefully a good time was had by all.

There were 9 female bbers total. I was a light-heavy, with a total of 4 women in my class. Below are some pics from pre-judging. There was only 1 heavy, so she was out there with us (on far left). She ended up winning the Overall, and it was well deserved. I took 2nd to the woman immediately on my left. It was personal best for me. This has left me quite hungry to make improvements to what I bring next time I hit the stage.

Thanks guys

I've been driving myself a little crazy analyzing the comparisons from rxmuscle, muscular development and flex online. I am happy with how I looked, and wouldn't change a thing regarding how I prepped for the show...EXCEPT I would have used more makeup and fixed my hair better for prejudging.

I just need more size. So, more food, heavier weights, time.

Very impressive! If you could have been darker, I think it would have helped bring out your definition more IMO.

Thank you all for the kind words.

IBT, I completely agree on the color. I was too light for prejudging, and we tried to have that remedied by the night show. The color was better for finals, but too late for judging purposes. I have made notes in that regard (inadequate makeup as well for PJ) in my notes so those mistakes are not made again.

I must polish the tile.

Thanks bankerbabe. Were you there?

I often fail to make the connection between people I know from online when seeing them in person.

Those who push further when the effort gets difficult are the ones who will win.

Bodybuilding isn't everything, but being small, weak, and puny REALLY SUCKS!!

Adversity causes some to break and others to break records.
