Deep fried turkey

i know, i know, why is this thread on a muscle board....

who here has had it?
what is the best recipe for it?
any advice on doing this? unhealthy is it really? does the oil penetrate the meat and fill it w/ saturated fatty goodness?

i ask, because i bought one on clearance and i'm going to cook 2 turkeys for our christmas eve meal for my entire family. i've eaten it once, and it was unreal, and i'm wondering what everyone else's thoughts are.
