New IM Media Player

Since all the hype has been put around those videos and links DC's been posting I figure it was time to implement the IM Media Player. It will stream any media file or MetaCafe (www.metacafe.com) Video right on IM.

ps: is there any way one can upload a .bmp avi like urs? or is just meant for the software wizards of IM?

Yep you can link to .bmp files or gif or jpgs.

i was referring to an avatar like urs....i dont know if they are called .bmp or .gif....i did an animations course a year ago and havent practised so im stale...please correct me if i am wrong sir

It's an animated .gif -- Anybody should be able to upload one as long as their avatar as it's within the file size paramaters.

I like it alot, is there any way I can disable it though because my computer bogs down pretty hard when .pdf files are attached.
