Wesley was a man among men, and anyone that had the pleasure to meet, or speak with him, would say the same.

He will be missed, but never forgotten. His legacy lives on in all those he helped, and it will be passed on by those that strive to follow the example he set.

Truly a great, irreplaceable man. May he rest in peace.

It's shocking to hear such sad news. Wes trained me 2 years back for 6 months and he was truly a great sage. He had tremendous respect for everyone in the iron game and was a real gentleman. He will be missed terribly.
The prayers of my family will go out to his family at this time of lose.

I had the honor of speaking with this gentleman while training.

May the peace of the Holy Spirit be with his family and friends.

All donations in Wesley Silveira's (Iron Addict) memory:

Wes loved all things. He was a huge animal lover. The family would love to have donations sent to a local charity. You can call and ask for Gail at ext 117 or just give the information of your donation in Wes' honor. There is a link to send through their website as well.

                  Thank you for remembering!

Leaving it all to an animal shelter. Wesley was an awesome guy.

I only heard about it today. This is awful. I was a trainee of his for a while and he truly was one of the greats in the industry. I am a better man from having worked with Wesley; He influenced me a great deal in terms of things outside of lifting and will be sorely missed.

This is terrible news for both his family and the lifting community. Ironaddicts was a site that people with average genetics could rely on to receive good, reliable lifting information from; and IA was perhaps the most knowledgeable at training hardgainers on the entire internet.

A massive loss for us all, although at least some of his knowledge lives on in his book, his ebook and his hundreds of articles. IA will serve as an inspiration for hardgainers for many years to come.

I trained under wes for a good amount of time and have have a log on his site for a few years. The man is first rate and taught me more than anyone about the iron game and life situations. RIP Wes
