Calling you out!!!

Alright there's been some talk about wanting another ISOM. Kidrok and Homon said in the last ISOM thread that there doesn't necessarily need to be an official contest to challenge each other.

The best turnout we've had as far a participants was the Deadlift ISOM. And, anyone who knows me, knows I am all about the deadlift.

So I am calling you all out. Get fired up and beat this if you can.

Here is my Deadlift challenge. 315 x 18 (after a 405 x 6). I was really shooting for 20. Btw, I threw up in my mouth @ :32.

I am really looking forward to seeing some great videos as I know there are some beasts here at IM.

I say 315 for reps and we can use a formula to compare against BW to make it fair.

Such BS that I didn't film the 320x24 that crushed me on Monday. Oh well. If I have to do 315 and shoot for 30 so be it.

When do we have until Tony?

First thing I thought of too!

I say go for 315 for reps and a little dance at the end for extra points? (Collapsing doesn't count as a dance)

Any type of deadlift is cool. Just like the last deadlift ISOM. Coventional, SLDL, Sumo, Rack.

Any reps, weight. Just the most intense.

Edit: I get what you mean now. Sounds cool to me. I weighed 164 at the time.

Points to T-Lo for this awesome idea, we should do this more often, even if we aren't getting prizes, the brotherhood of iron needs to fuel itself with sweat, chalk and competition!

Looks like we have 11 participants thus far. Spread the word on FB and everywhere else you can think of and let's get this thing going.

Would be nice to get some Round Table Experts showing their stuff.

When was the last time Skip joined in? Yep, calling out the HNIC!! lol

Right on. I came across that guy a year or so ago and he fucken owns that lift. He "only" does 27 here, but his machine-like precision is awesome. The grip strength and endurance it would take floors me as well.

Filmed a set this morning. Well, tried to film a set.

Did rack deads with 495 plus EFS Short Mini Bands for 13 reps - was a pretty good set. Then found out that there wasn't sufficient space on the memory card and only the first 5 seconds were recorded... ugh.

Yeah man I know right? After he's done he just walks away from the bar like nothing. Why didn't he collapse and die?

He must be taking Cell-Tech. That's the only explanation.
