12.5 weeks out first show 19 years old

hey guys, i am 12.5 weeks out from my first show, the npc oklahoma grand prix. im 19 and will be doing the teen class. have been back in the gym seriously since mid may, rebuilding what i lost fooling around my freshman yr of college. I'm 5'7(maybe slightly under) and 184 in these pics. Really wanted to do a show as a teen so decided to take the plunge. Just started dieting two days ago. These pics were taken last night, umpumped except for 2 warmup sets on bench. Posing is still crappy and as you can see, my legs werent properly flexed in a few shots.
let me know what you guys think!

If it was me, I would probably position some of those carbs after my workout.

Looking nice and wide. With a caveat that with prep of 12 weeks you aint going to make a lot of changes to a lagging bodypart with eventual depletion from diet and cardio. I would say your quads. Your upper body could handle a lot more quad size comfortably.

Read the stickies from Dante and there are some on contest prep. He says the best way to impress with your own unique genetics is not to worry about being "perfectly in balance or having full muscle bellies" because it is likely that unless you have pro genetics you won't achieve these. But being as peeled and lean as you can possible be will impress more. Judges will quickly overlook a couple of inches off your optimum quads size if there are insane striations popping out all over the place.

And I concur with Steel, you are at a good starting point. Plus if you can afford to, hire Skip, he will get you as peeled as you can get.

Don't worry about "weak" body parts. I used to go on and on about that when I was younger, and I hear it all the time from clients. Until you compete you really won't know what your weaknesses are. Also, at this stage in the game (precontest) you shouldn't worry about that. When you get to the off season, at your age you want to concentrate on overall mass. What weight class are you shooting for? I'm guessing light weight or welterweight. Good luck, take it slow and enjoy.

im not really shooting for a weight class, but want to come in as dry and tight as possible.the guys here in oklahoma come in peeled, whereas ive seen them bigger but more soft in texas. im guessing i would come in at 150-155ish so most likely a lightweight. hoping for striated glutes lol but my trainer said thats harder for young muscle.

That is what I was hoping you would say. I think you are right on with your mind set. A lot of people underestimate the amount of weight they have to lose. Everyone wants to be huge, but most people don't realize in order to give that illusion you have to get smaller.
