    Digestion Issues

Over the last 6 months I have had some issues with digestion. For example, if I ate a salad at supper when I go to the washroom the next morning most of the lettuce is still intact in the toilet (if you know what I am saying). If I eat some Instant Oatmeal with dehydrated fruit when I go to the washroom later, the fruit shows back up.

I have been taking Acidophilis, Bromelin, and ginger root which have helped keep me more regular, but I'm still not fully digestion food.

Do you guys have any suggestions?

    Would a fiber supplement help?

You might post this in the preventative measures-health news forum as well.

The fiber won't help. I would post this question for Super Sport or go to www.drweil.com and see if the answer is there.

I take alot of digestive aids as well. I also take 6 oz of grapefruit juice twice a day.

I have been chewing my food the same way for the last 25 years. I don't think that chewing is the issue. I chew alot actually... I'm a slow ass eater

RUn a search for digestive enzymes.

Also you can try Curing pills, aka Cu ling pills, or Kang Ning Wan - chinese herbal formulas for digestive problems.

Also, umeboshi pills or paste (made from salt-pickled plums) with your meals

You can drink ginger tea with your meals or Kombu Cha Tea or Pu Erh tea (the latter works really well.)

I am right there with you. There are alot of natural approaches to help. Avoid ZELNORM although I believe they took it off the market. Try an herbal approach first.

You might want to seriously consider seeing your doctor.
