You can buy right from the source and get the high quality raw materials from Truenutrition.com or you can pay 1.5 to 3 times the cost for a glossy jug, fancy multicolored label, and $13000 per page magazine advertising costs....for a company I just might be making the product for anyway........

actually no, I've just seen it, it's under the exercise listing

"* All exercises should
be followed by a 30
second to 1 minute
stretch for that body
part."

well obviously it's just another way of selling their supplements.

but it's also blatant plagiarism

Instead of sending an email falming them I sent one asking how they came up with that workout philosophy and how they know that it will work.

Oh it gets worse........................

Q. What do you mean by one set for an exercise? It looks like you recommend three sets, what gives?

A. Four Core training is based around rest pause training. This has been done many different ways in the past from Sergio Olivia doing one set for chest alternated with one set for back, to strip sets where you jump up and strip some weight off the bar before you continue on with the set. These are just two examples of ways to create rest between sets or reps. In Four Core we rest 15 to 20 seconds between groups of reps, but we never lower the weight. Itís really one long set that takes about 90 to 120 seconds to complete.

Q. Can I change some of the exercises that you recommend in Four Core? I hate DB Hammer Curls.

A. Sure you can substitute different exercises; this is just a sample workout. Just remember that all of the exercises that you choose will be eliminated at some point as you canít continue gaining in strength on an exercise forever. Once you fail to progress (and remember, donít cheat), you must replace that exercise. Also make sure you donít replace a compound exercise with a froo froo exercise. No squats being replaced with leg extensions. I donít have a problem with an exercise like this being included in one of your quad workouts, but it shouldnít be considered a replacement for squats.

Q. Iíve never seen training like this before, how did you come up with it?

Q. Actually, the first time I started thinking about training like this was way back in the mid to late 90ís. I read an article by Shawn Phillips in Muscle Media 2000 about arm training. It was a specialized arm training routine where you hit your arm three times per week (8 days), with three different exercises. The idea was to do one stretch movement, 1 contraction movement, and 1 mid range movement over the course of one week. I thought his idea was great, and even more so when my arms went from 17.5 inches to 18.5 inches in 5 weeks. The focus of the routine was recuperation time of the arms, combined with different positions of flexion. I agreed with both of these, but also thought that a big part of the gains came from the focus I could give the biceps on such an abbreviated program. I started working more body parts into this type of training over time until my whole workout became based around this type of system. My muscular gains continued, and found that it all came down to focus, and recuperation. I mean why tap a nail all day with a pencil when you can hit it hard once with a hammer, then go home and eat, rest and supplement.

DANTE - that is a blatant f*&ck*&g rippoff. What are you going to do about it?? Is there anything you or we can do? I hope they get smaller using that crap, they will never get the program right. Man I am dissapointed for you. Is Ironman behind PVL?
