Skip and Mrs. Skip's 2017 Contest Prep Journal

Looking forward to this given that was almost 40 when I started training I think there will be a lot of useful info for me, and something to watch over the Christmas break to avoid all the crap on tv

Good to hear your plans skip, and good luck in 2018, sounds like it will be a busy year for you!
Interesting that you are doing keto with skiploading. Do you feel you drop back into ketosis quickly after skiploading? What kind of macros are you working with at the moment? I'm also curious if you track non starchy vegetables on keto days and how you find your gym performance on zero carbs during the week. I have always struggled to hold muscle on keto as a natural, but i like the diet for its simplicity. I suppose that trt would prevent that on a keto diet? I'm doing a kind TKD with zero carbs on rest days, and peri workout carbs and a skipload day but I'm definitely never in ketosis �� so I guess it's more carb cycling.

I go into great detail with everything in the TRTbodybuilding/Longevity2 DVD which you can find on TEAMSKIP.com. Everything is there and incredibly detailed.

I will add that I am not doing keto to be in full blown ketosis all the time simply because I am not aiming to lose body fat at this time, anyway. I also tend to load on more moderate fat and moderate carb sources instead of high carbs all day. I am not terribly depleted at this time but when I get into prep mode that will change.
