Im doing my 1st "strongwoman" comp Feb 19th

Events: Tire Flip, Duck Walk, Viking Press, Hydrant Carry, Truck Pull

Im excited and nervous...

The owner of the gym hosting it, emailed me and said I think you can take the veterans....you wanna enter...Ill train ya...

I would got out on a limb and say that texas strongs avatar is a duck walk... or a power stair...

not to plug myself, but here myself doing a duck walk

Yes sir mine was a 500lb power stair lol.. ugh. Same one used at WSM in 2009 I believe.

Duck walk is the same principle, just moving.. Also at this comp it will be on an incline.

I was too tired to post...lol
I placed 2nd.
Travis Ortmayer The King of Atlas Stones was the judge....he is funny!
5 months ago he broke his ankle during a comp but he says he's competing at the Arnold in 2 weeks.
1st event viking press I repped out 17 good enuff for 2nd place
2nd event duck walked w/ 215lbs up an incline for 9.96 secs good for 1st place
3rd event tire flip 10 flips in 33.74 for 3rd place
4th event 185lb fire hydrant carry- 9 touches in 30 secs for 2nd place
5th event truck pull (uhaul truck) for 60 ft in 27.62 for 2nd place.
I had a lot of fun...
The Ortmayers are having an event May 14th...Imma do it.
