                  I suppose that whenever such a good person is gone, the only comfort that there can be for his friends and loved ones is to remember that they're certainly better off and have a better life for having had someone like that as part of their own lives. My condolences.

                        Out of respect for him, his family, and his friends, it should stay private.

                        Remember Wesley for all that he helped and for the lives he touched. He will be missed.

                          Yes and it will stay that way out of respect for his family. Someone is gone, how they passed is not important, how they lived IS.

                            That's true... Perhaps first responders and others who lose their lives trying to save someone else's might be one exception to that rule.

                              I don't believe it is, I experienced this first hand 04/28/2009 when two of my coworkers were gunned down in the line of duty. They lived to serve and protect, they passed because of violence. That's neither here nor there though.
