Interesting question Scott. I would think that a skylight would heat up the gym in the summer. Also, can you imagine if the sun was shining in your eyes while trying to get that 21st rep of a widow?

You are right, though, when I'm doing a widowmaker, making sure I don't have the sun in my eyes or, heaven forbid, some sweat go in my eye, is very important. LOL (Once, a little snot dribbled down under my nose and I was so embarrassed I just left for the day...)

There is a gym here in Tucson with a horrid skylight - right over the BB bench area - nearly impossible to see to rack the bar at the wrong time of the day. no skylights...i have windows all around...the entire building is windows on all 4 sides. i had to build walls to add mirrors in here.

scott- i messaged your buddy and told him no problem shooting here and i will be open by the time he wants to do it so it should work out great...thanks again!

I have been going out to Phoenix every October the last couple of years to play in the Men's baseball world series with a friend's team out of LA.....Unfortuneately I won't be able to make it this year but will be out there next year and will definetly come by!!

red paint going up on walls...there will be a 12in silver stripe from ceiling then a 12in black stripe then rest of the wall will be red...once sprayed today the rubber floor goes down tomorrow and then equipment can be dropped
