Thanks for clearing things up. I only went down to midback (actually maybe mid neck lol) and just thought I was too tight to make it to the hammies. Glad to see I am not as rigid as I once thought.
They make a bar (or at least used to) that was made for this stretching movement. I had used it in the past but I always just stretched and held it and didn't make it into a dynamic movement. Makes sense that actively stretching like that would clear up impingement though.
