Luckily I have this machine in my gym so I incorporated it into my routine yesterday. Wow, this exercise is brutal. I figured doing it with 30lbs would be easy. After bout 16 reps I felt like my chest was going to rip off my body. This is a great exercise.

this has been working very well for me and i don't have the right machine (mine is the rear delt/fly combo machine). my chest has definitely come up a lot and is no longer lagging as much as it used to. dante, what other exercise inventions do you have to bring up other body parts?

Dante , can I just incorporate it as a third movement ? on usual rp ?
I am not so concerned about shape now ... just size.

Hey Dante.Im going through my 2nd cycle doing only dec peck.Lucky my gym has the same machine you described. I got alot stronger on the machine the 2nd cycle. When I moved to 80 i could only pull 21 reps then the 3rd time on the same weight i hit 28 reps.Besides the weight progress people have been telling me my chest is getting wider and more filled,so thats great news.Ive been noticing it from my t-shirts as well..Cant wait to to train for another month then move to my regular split for chest!. You are the shit dante.

Then you didn't follow his layout, you were supposed to do 80 for 21, then up the weight to 95, not use 80 again.

Anyhow, any updates from you guys doing this? I am on a cruise and will try out the ex tonight, and maybe incorporate it next blast starting next monday, which will bring me to xmas or thereabouts.

I do Barbell Inclines, HS inclines and DB inclines as my 3 chest, and have been progressing well on them, but I always like to try new things out. Thats why I like the cruises LOL.

and you ask if you need to step up the intensity, a true DC trainee wouldn't need to ask himself that question, he would already be training with full intensity, this isn't a program for "a pretty high intensity", it's for a kick in the balls intensity where you always try to get that extra rep - Equill

I did not start with the high reps.. I just put this exercise into my blast routine.. And it has been working wonders on my chest.. Especially for thickness.. I would compare this to dips for chest, but without the weight being distributed on the triceps and delts.. Plus it is a smooth movement unlike dips.. Dips for chest just don't feel natural to me..

I can't do dips very well, due to a shoulder injury, and this sounds like something that would be a good thing for me to try. Will give it a shot tonight.

.
well the reason why i stayed at 80 is because i wanted to perfect my form..he said try to keep it in the 20-30 range as you add 10 pounds everytime.. i went from 60 to 120 pounds..i got 120 for 24 reps last time..I just finished up my 8 week cycle, now im going back to regular 3 chest exercises..Ill prob do this again in 2-3 months because it filled out my chest.
