You had small arms? And 297 now? Is there a goal you have in mind?

So, was it the double purple nurples that made you scream when you were bringing that bar up?

No, my arms were sad a year ago. They are still not nearly what I need but I am happy with the progress in such a short time. I just had a client measure them the other day cold but flexed and since Dante took over my training I have added just under two full inches. I think that the key is that I do EXACTLY what he says, nothing more or less.

297 was my heaviest offseason weight. I have no idea what I weigh now because I don't step on a scale while dieting. I will be well above 225 lbs so I have no need to watch a scale.

As far as goals I want to be as big as DC training will let me get. I love lifting heavy and I love eating so I would have to say that DC was basically designed for people like me.

----Well, all I can say after reading that is...with that mindset, you are going to get fawking HUGE. Seriously. I'm not near your level, but DC has done wonders for me. I 100% buy into everything it is about...and a dude like you who already has an awesome physique...with the mindset of just 'eat my ass off and lift my ass off and get as huge as that gets me' is seriously going to be something of awesome proportions.

You guys need to pay attention---LOL

We already did the offseason....WE already did the gaining part......Dusty is dieting now....and getting ready for a show now in 8 weeks. Mass building has taken place in spades and now its tunnel vision for show time

We needed to work on his arms and his back.....and increase overall size.... and I really wanted to loosen up his rotation of his scapula and shoulder structure because it looked like Dusty had trouble showing his full width in some shots.....like the lat spread. I think we accomplished a great deal of what we sought after.....Im very happy with the results.....he took a huge step forward.

As he was an ex (almost pro) hockey player, I feel Dusty from all the physicalness of that sport with the checking etc....had to really do some stretching out (fascia wise and also structure wise)....... In his beginning shots he looked very compacted and had a hard time really spreading on his lat spread.......seeing his lats in the front double bicep tells me 100 ways around the block that great things happened this offseason.....all that hanging on chin bars with dumbells strapped around his waist......and just "letting yourself go into the stretch" <-----thats the key.....worked! I can tell alot of people how to do the hanging stretch but only a few people actually get how to let yourself relax and go into it.....when Dusty was here he described to me how he did it and BOOM I knew right then how he described it to me....he got it, it clicked with him. Thats the hardest part of my job....getting that "click" with people.

That is one of my main problems, especially with the back stretch, I just haven't been able to really feel it. I still do it, cause I am sure what I am doing is better than not stretching at all, but not to the extent others have had.

Either way, 297? damn, that's huge, adn then you rip that up, well down, to 225~, umm, that's still huge too.

When Dusty and Evian came out and stayed with me a couple months ago I made damn sure I didnt grab a training session with Dusty.

Why?

a) I like to consider myself the Big Dogg in my gym and I sure as hell am not going to put on 14 shirts and 8 pair of sweatpants so I can still have that title with Dusty lifting next to me....I have some dignity! (and i dont know if i have 14 DC training shirts)

b) Same old story, like the last guy picked on the dodgeball team....Weight Bitch again?!?!
Yep I would be the guy fetching all the 45's.....its never hamstring day or bicep day.....its always got to be leg or back day and I end up being too tired to do my sets because I have to go fetch thirtytwo 45 pound plates. 14 shirts + 8 pair sweatpants + fetching mucho 45 pound plates = trip to the ER due to extreme dehydration.

So Dusty has his 21 year old training partner Ryan for that job! Due to his fetching of 12,488 fortyfive pound plates this past offseason we reward Ryan with a little publicity of his own!

First up Ryan.

Second up just to show everyone who still is the Big Dogg on campus....Dusty Hanshaw repping it out. Just a walk in the park on a sunday afternoon.

Thats noted top Nationals/USA Middleweight contender Rob Pyfer behind Dusty whose figure girls are cleaning house out in Arizona in shows.

I was wondering this too until I remembered that probably not even dante could bring up a a bicep with a 3 finger gap between to forearm and no genetic peaks.

I'm not advanced yet so not going to worry about it, but unfortunately I'm certain in the future that unless my triceps look like levrone's, there's a good chance i'll be stuck with less than 20's no matter how heavy I get.

I'd seriously hire dante just to fix my arms (if it was possible) if I was advanced and he was training.

but, more importantly, Dusty's back literally looks like a B2 bomber. How much those ridiculous bars weigh?

I know you guys think I dont tell you the truth but the truth is find the key exercises that need to be done for that certain individual....and then find the key widowmaker 25-30 down to 8-12 over months) Ive explained before needed on the advanced split for a lagging bodypart....and BOMB the living shite out of it until you give it no other recourse but to respond. Again if you are on the two way split and not the advanced split, you are going to pummel yourself into overtraining quickly and see your blasts end abruptly if you attempt this....(yet i know some of you arent going to listen to me anyway....as someone who has experimented with this stuff 12 ways around the block, dont say i didnt warn you when your 4 weeks into your blast and exhausted)

I ask because i feel courious, i like to see different exercises and the reasoning to choose them... i won´t do dusty´s widowmakers and i know i won´t even feel tempted to do them, but the ways and reasoning system you use to atack a weak bodypart is something that will always catch my interest, seeing how you looked at his arms in order to find a key exercise is something that may help us look at our phisiques to improve them... Sorry if i am a pain in the ass, i love to learn about training
