squat suit
I got a squat suit this week. A 1 ply centurion from Titan. Here is the problem, its not fitting. I know they should be really really tight and it should be hell to put it on but this is just not happening. I took 2 shots at getting this thing on and still nothing. The first time i tried for about 20 min but I had to leave so I took it off, I was about 1 foot away from getting the crotch up high enough. the 2nd time i took atleast 1.5 hours and still didnt get it fully on. The 2nd time I use bags to help with the slidding and I got it close to fitting about 3-4 inches maybe less from fully tight in the crotch. My legs are all buised because I couldnt fit my fingers under the seem of the leg to pull them up so I had to dig really deep and hard. Even though I was still not in it the pain was intense. I couldnt move my leg because it was pinching and pulling something fearce and forget about flexing for a long period because that made it worst. My leg was all white around the leg seem. I couldnt take it for more than 5 min then it took almost 5 min to take the dam thing off. I had help but that was useless. I am now bruised all around my leg and soor.
I guess what I am getting at is, am I just a pussy or am I right in thinking I need a bigger size. This is my first suit but if this is what I have to go threw than I guess im staying raw my whole life. The pain when I even bent down the 4 inches I could move was ridiculous and without alot of weight on my shoulders I was not going anywhere. I am 6-3. approx 260-270lbs. I think the reason the legs are soo tight is that I have tube legs, They are pretty much the same size everywhere or close enough considering the highest i can pull my suit up on the first shot is about 4 inches above my knee then the rest just gets worst. what is everybody's experience with the suit. Is it this hard and painfully to the point of just standing there with it on seems alot worst that getting hit in the balls? |

One size up should work well.

You can tear single ply suit , if itīs too tight . It has happened to me twice, new suits, two different brands, both times in competition,on top of that second time local tv channel was filming when it happened.

I am really hopping that the new size fits. I have a little bit to wait before I get it which sucks big time but oh well. I just couldnt beleive the support and how little the suit gave. I felt like I could squat anything with that on. I cant even begin to imagine what a 2 ply would feel like.

my squat suite-its hard to get in this suite, but harder is getting out of it!
maybe my legs are too big, but need some 5 minutes to get it off! and it hurts! |

On another note I have heard that the centurion stretches fast then it gets loose and doesnt work as well. Anybody know if this is actually true or how long it takes for this to happen? |
