Yep.......another newb.
Hey guys. Been reading the site for a couple weeks, familiarizing myself with all the DC stuff, planning out how/when I'll start it. Finally decided to register today. Site is incredible, SO much knowledge and support.
I'm turning 40 in 3 months.......been lifting solid and heavy for 2 straight years. Before that - the old off and on for about 18 years - no progress or anything to report from that slacker method! The last 2 years though - great progress - weight was 263, bodyfat around 30%. Now I'm about 228 and BF is about 16%. Biggest success so far as far as programs or styles was the Bill Starr 5x5 I ran last winter. BUT - I expect DC to easily exceed those gains and last much longer. So - I start on the 28th. I'm anxious already....... |
