Airbrush tanning?

Any of you guys use an airbrush to put your competition tan on? I know Jan Tana has airbrush booths at some shows and they actually sell their airbrush system on their website but the price is insane ! Ebay has airbrush systems for just over 100 bucks and I'm thinking I can just pour pro tan in there and spray away!

I have actually been thinking the same I was going to buy an air brush for makeup etc. I had some friends that had one at USA's last year I think they just got it from home depot or something and it worked well. I am not a big Ebay fan so I would stay clear just my two cents.

Check out this site you can get the compressor and bottom feed air gun for only $159

you could also go to a tanning salon that offers spray tanning . it's pretty good IF you are able to choose your own colors , because most got a standard one which is pretty Tan but not the darkest . they do have different colors though .

Air brush tanning is great! Putting pro-tan in the airbrush kit works fantastic! The only prob is putting on layers evenly. 1 coat use hair dryer until you achieve the color that you desire. usually 3 layers but it doesn't hurt to go to the tanner for a week prior. And exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate! Prior to the whole process. You should only need 2 bottles depending your natural skin pigment. If any streaks or runs, use a q-tip to blend or remove.
Now here's the kicker; Before pre-judging apply dream tan #2 to your entire body. Also,Hot Stuff on desired areas. Dream Tan CAN be messy but you're water depleted correctly you should have to worry about runs.

Jantana is usually only at the US competitions... in Canada there is a company called Tan on the Run in Toronto, they attend shows and use a hi- definition competition color...or they will come to your home. Airbrush tanning is much easier and less time consuming than applying the lotions

I think the prices are reasonable, check them out on the web...

My wife did it for her last show

It came out bad
The color did fade well the girl who applied it was skilled enough plus they did 3 coats and wasnt enough

IMO if you go this route find a person who knows what is needed for your show
