Liquid egg whites brand
I'm thinking about picking up some liquid egg whites (for the convenience) and wondered what brand people would recommend and why. Seems like the main choices are Egg Whites International, Eggology or Lana's.
Thanks! Mick |

Depending on where you buy the cartons, it is just about the same price wise as Lanas or EGI. If it weren't for the shipping price to MS for Lanas I would go that route. I used a Kroger Brand and it was cheap, but after a while, it gave me some bad indigestion. Walmart has a Cuntry Creek Brand ( I think that is the namne) it was about $1.80 a carton and it was pretty good, even after repeated use.

yeah, those papetti's give me some issues first thing in the morning but nothing i can't handle once. Just don't make the mistake of drinking egg beaters. I did and had 18 hours of pain.

I ended up buying Lana's. So far so good. Great for cooking with or adding to my protein shakes.

It is important to keep in mind that eating raw egg whites from eggs is asking for trouble. On the other hand, all (that I know of) of the egg white companies heat pasturize thier whites.
That way you can drink them raw! By the way, I did Egg Whites International for a while until I realized that with shipping, they are about the same cost as the ones at the supermarket. I cant remember the name, but they come by the quart.

i got the 4 gallon special from EW int.... add the pump & its still a good deal i feel.... sooo simple & time effective as opposed to cracking & seperating etc.... a couple pumps & its done fast for those who have limited time...plus after the 1st time, you dont have to buy the pump again... for me, its the easiest most time effective way to go..
