Han Yak?
Hi,
My Korean Acupuncturist has me taking this nasty clear liquid at night he calls Han Yak. The package it comes in is clear and has deer printed on it. The package has no English labeling. I was wondering if anyone might know what Han Yak is? A Google search did not turn much up on the subject. |

I'm looking at the package right now. On the left is a picture of some green plant with long roots stemming to the ground. On the right side There is a Buck facing foward with a Doe directly behind it with its head turned to the right and a fawn directly behind the doe with its head turned left. The buck is antlered of course to answer your question. |

I did read the above link you posted the other night before I made this post. It does not discuss what the herbs are in the extract. I hate taking stuff with blind trust because thats not my nature. I like to research stuff that I put in my body. I would ask my acupuncturist directly if I could understand him. |

Update: I Googled keys words Korean and deer antlers. I dont know why I did not think of this the other night Duh! I saw many things on Korean Red Ginseng mixed with deer velvet. I think thats going to be my Han Yak product if I were to bet money on it. The stuff its not cheap. I wish I could get this package translated to see how much I could order it for on the net.

Yep, my guess is that there is some deer antler velvet in there. I'll let you google that one and see what it does and it it matches the symptoms you came to him with.
He should be able to tell you what's in your product or send to you someone who speaks / read Korean and can translate his treatment notes (if he has any) and/or the package labelling. -R

From what I recall this is supposed to raise your body's own IGF-1 levels? Is that right Scott?
