Another reason to wipe down your weights!
My mom is a nurse at a hospital near us and when i got a red mark on my back she had to check for staff infections. She said that staff is highly contagious(sp?) and has been spread in fitness areas around the US. btw I dont have staff, it was from rubbing against something thank God.

we've put MRSA posters all over our facility and are changing the dress code to prevent disease transmission
