DC Blast for Contest ... Adjustments?

Hey guys,
My buddy and I are preparing for a competition that is about 16 weeks away. We gave DC a try when we were bulking about 20 weeks ago and will never train any other way. Anyways we started our prep about 4 weeks ago and the plan was to start another DC blast 17 weeks out, which we did. Obviously the main factor here is that we will be at a carb and calorie deficit.

The main goal is muscle preservation and then fat loss. We will do whatever it takes to look as good as we possibly can come contest time. Right now I can say my body is in survival mode. My joints are sore and the recovery just isnt there. I know this is because of the contest diet, but have any of you made any adustments with a DC blast for contest prep. I know it is targeted more for gaining size but I was curious how you DC gurus prepare for a contest. Thanks guys

I'd be interested to know about this as well as my 1st show is 18 weeks out and I'm just starting to use DC training but not sure how best to set it up pre comp. Slyfox can you post up your routine by any chance?
