We are back from the Mid USAs in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I am going to detail the show in a thread in the main forum and how incredibly poorly it was run and organized but at least Melissa was judged fairly - and I think she was the only one that was. It was a good time for the family, though, and we met some cool people both from New Mexico and from Colorado.

Melissa took 1st in the Novice Short class and 5th in the Open short class. Her condition was better in that she was slightly leaner than the Colorado show (about 3 pounds) but we were able to flatten her out more which was a good thing. This brought her hardness down and her legs and arm size down even more. I was very happy with the improvements and her posing and stage presence was much improved, as well.

Pictures of Franny of IM (great to meet her and her boyfriend) and Marilena who should have won the tall class in my opinion. We ended up going out with her and Tina (in the pic with Melissa and Merilena backstage with the hat). My only regret is not getting a picture of Tina in that dress she wore to the night show. Good Lord... : )

I have been slow to update this, lately, so I thought I would get in here and make a couple notes.

Had a lot to do this weekend with a football tournament (3 games) and softball (2 games) along with me taking a firearms class all day on Saturday. Took the kids to the range for the first time on Sunday, too. They loved it. They got to shoot a 22 and all of them did very well. Sissy had to show off a little as she is very good with handguns. She has been shopping and has narrowed her choices down to only a couple. She may have her own here in the next few weeks.

Sissy is trying to get back in the gym this week but not feeling very good as her body isn't processing the food very well. Apparently, her body is getting used to the beer and pizza again and doesn't want chicken breast and vegetables.

We will be leaving for Michigan to both visit family and hit a wedding in Chicago for a good friend that you guys know but.... I won't say who it is. lol Looking forward to getting back and seeing family but also for the fun time in Chicago for the wedding, too. Oh, and of course for the IntenseMuscle.com show on October 11th, too. Should be alot of fun.

Little Miss Reese celebrated her 4th Birthday party on Sunday. She wanted to go to ghetto Chucky Cheese and then came home for a dress up birthday party with the neighbor kids. Then, my retarded teenager and her retarded friend taught them to dance.

Tate lost an overtime game over the weekend but played really well.

I have an XD9 subcompact and Sissy will be picking up a Kahr PM9093 shortly. Honestly, I love my XD (had a 45 first but wanted a subcompact) but had I shot the Kahr before I bought the XD, I probably would have gone with the Kahr, myself. GREAT gun.

Thats cool, i used to carry as a second gun a springfield subcompact xd40. Now for my second gun i carry a keltec 380, it is really small but i can conceal it well. My primary is a H&K USP 40. My friends shoot kahrs and love them.

I haven't been posting in here simply because of the lack of time. Since the article/interview was posted I have been slammed and as much as I have been on top of my client work, my log and this thread have slipped quite a bit.

We are heading out on vacation in a couple days to hit a wedding on the 4th in Chicago and the IM show in Michigan on the 11th. I think things won't be so hectic when we get back so I plan to pick this thread up again. Plus, I should have a lot of pictures from the trip, too.

I just finished my 1st blast a week ago (which was a 2-way split) and now I’m revving up for my 2nd blast. I plan on constructing it similar to what you have here but am a bit confused on how to get a body part done twice in a single week as I did with the 2-way split with out, completely missing that body part. I was thinking about just adding an exercise to my mid week day (wed) with a high rep scheme just to get some blood in there. For example, lets say on Wed I’m doing Tris, Chest , Delts & Traps ( Mon & Fri would have been back, biceps, lower back) and added a high rep or strip set type of Leg Extinctions and Leg Curls). What do you think? Oh, just to give you some back ground on me, I’m 44 years old and have been training for about 29 yrs now.

I don't do that rotation anymore or at least not right now. I think that doing a bodypart just to "get blood into it" isn't a good idea, to be honest. Do a bodypart to produce growth or just let it go. A "pump" isn't going to do anything for growth. It might satisfy your psyche because you will be training it but that doesn't mean it will grow.
