LOL, thanks I think those adductor and abductor machines lie though because on the same machine at a different gym I am doing 120# for each....hmmm seems fishy to me Everything else jives but I feel kind of crazy even putting that weight in hahaha.

I have been lagged behind in my journal. I have had my in laws in town, they just left today. Things are going well with training, lifts are all getting done and I still feel strong. Diet has been good. I am a little nervous this time round not sure why. Cardio sessions all in. So far so good I will get back to my journaling this week...although I am headed to Toronto on vacation for 2 weeks starting Monday so I may still be a little more sporadic in my posts. I'll definitely be checking in for diet support while I'm there. My mom is usually trying to drop a few pounds, even though she looks great for her age, so it shouldn't be that hard

Hey!

Have fun on your vacation to Toronto! My hubby is from London, Ontario.

Ok, so newbie question-what does your diet look like at 2 months out from competition?? Could you give me an example of a typical day for you?

Thanks!

Jen

Thanks, I will. It's always tough traveling during dieting but I know I can do it. I went to Hawaii last cut LOL. I am very familiar with London that's cool how long has he been in the States ?

As far as diet goes, I have been working with Island Girl and Paradise Cup for a year now. I did my initial show and cut diet with them last October and then did a great off season with them and now am starting my cut again for November. Although most diets for competition are similar they still vary from person to person. Foods and quantities that work with my body and the amount of carb, fat and protein each person needs is obviously very individual. So is cardio. It depends mostly on the muscle mass and metabolism. A person on the same diet as I am on may maintain or even gain as I have a quick metabolism...the best suggestion I can say is keep it clean, eat at regular intervals, and drink a lot (of water of course )

I have a confidentiality agreement so I'm sorry, I can't disclose specifics of an average day for me but I would definitely suggest you speak to IG and PC, they are awesome!

OK I am still here and still working out LOL

I am in Toronto and so far my diet has been spot on, even through travel, which I though was pretty darn good (if I do say so myself)

Monday Aug. 11 - I got into town, did am cardio 45 min step master with bursts
Tuesday Aug. 12 - worked legs + 45 min cardio step mill with bursts
Weds Aug. 13 - Chest/tris + 45 min cardio step mill with bursts
Thurs. Aug 14 - cardio 45 min step mill with bursts

Just reinvested in a HR monitor, my last one broke some time ago. Cardio has been pretty accurate with regards to HR for the majority of the workout but blasts are a few levels higher than I have been used to...it's all good. I actually don't mind cardio...yet

Back and bis today...felt pretty good. Moved to mid grip pull BW pull ups, did 7/5/4/4 so felt pretty good there. Lift was strong.

Cardio 45 min level 6 and 13...day off yesterday as I got stuck in traffic on the way back to the cottage.
