What do you think about ORAC?

Quote:
What is ORAC?

ORAC is short for Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity. It is a test tube analysis that measures the total antioxidant for aging power of foods and other chemical substances. Due to recent furor over antioxidants, ARS researchers have decided to look more closely into isolating the benefits of such substance and they found that adopting ORAC as a method of study might help them achieve their goals much easier.

What does a high ORAC score mean?

Early findings of studies on antioxidant for aging suggest that eating plenty of fruits and vegetables with high ORAC scores may help slow oxidation. Foods such as spinach and blueberries have high ORAC scores, which led scientists to believe that they may contain more antioxidant for aging properties and thus help in slowing down the processes associated with aging in both body and brain.

"If these findings are borne out in further research, young and middle-aged people may be able to reduce risk of diseases of aging--including senility--simply by adding high-ORAC foods to their diets," said ARS Administrator Floyd P. Horn.
Do you think that one should go for the foods with the highest ORAC value?
I think the absolutely highest ORAC value has a berry called wolfberry. There's a wolfberry juice out there which is supposed to be totally healthy but it's also totally expensive.
