Steaming Veggies -Made EASY! YES! Zip Lock-Steam Bags!!!
Okay! So i seen a commercial for New Zip Lock Steam bags, and i thought 'cool' maybe ill try em. Was at the grocery Store last night and seen them,picked them up to try it out. My fiest thought was probably will bust or melt or something..
Went home, cut up raw Brocolli and filled the bag to the full line. it has a chart of times for foods and meats on the bag. 3 minutes for Raw veggies. 3 mins and voila!! My veggies came out AMAZING!! I was so excited!! yay! Best thing since min brn rice! -I know ... i'm weird, but anything to save me another min or two!

That's great to hear. I think I'll try them too.
I have tried those new ones by BirdsEye called Steamfresh where you just throw the bag into the microwave. Comes out great. A little pricey, but to me it's worth it. Esp. when dieting.

thats for the tip. steaming on the stove takes too long and these bags seem quick and easy. i'm gonna try them soon
