we have a female mastif. Very mellow, she was abused as a puppy though.... great dog to have around. Not as bad as I thought it would be.

this is what I feed my Newfoundlander who is now 1 year and 3 months and about 130lbs I think. Its hard to tell with all the fur.

If anybody is looking for the best companion dog you can find who isnt small go with a Newfoundland dog. I am amazed every day. The only negative is the long fur. I can see myself getting another Newfoundlander in the future and maybe even 2
