finding the right diet

It seems to me that my body is not too keen on carbs. What I mean is that I noticed when I have a big intake of carbs it all seems to go to the midsection and usually I find myself at times taking a B complex to help with metabolism. I am figuring that I probably need to do a low carb diet and the only one I know of is the atkins diet but I dont want to be putting some of that nasty stuff like sausage in my system.

Can someone point me into a direction on this?

theres plenty of diets out there..... u mean a ketogenic diet...
read up on these...

u dont need to put suagage in your system just use quality protein with healthy fat... olive oil, red meat, whole eggs, PB, mixed nuts ect.

What is the difference between the anabolic diet and the ketogenic diet?

there both ketogenic diets... they just have some different protocols on how they are structured but they both put you into ketosis.

i too am doing the anabolic diet. It's really good and if you do it right you don't linger in ketosis. There are some days you just feel crappy but keep your fat intake high and from good sources and you will be fine.

The thing that get me through the (5) days is having shakes in between. They taste awesome and you forget that you aren't taking in sugar.
