Quick Fix

this one is not low carb...and it's nothing special...but a quick meal when you're running late.

1 scoop low carb protein powder (25-35g)
2 packets instant oatmeal (plain flavor)
2 packets slenda
sprinkle of cinnammon

put all 3 ingredients in a bowl.
run some HOT tap water or heat some purified water in the microwave.
mix hot water in bowl until desired consistancy. I like mine on the soupy side b/c it goes down quicker and easier.

Just takes a quick min. and you have yourself 35-45g protein/38g complex carbs.

I eat this first thing in the morning sometimes, when I'm rushing off to work.

Nice meal but you could replace the oatmeal with some low fat or fat free milk to up the protein but I don't know if that would be too good the last couple of weeks precontest.

no no on the dairy. Not pre contest. He's getting what he needs from the whey. The dairy bloats u up. But BW u need to switch to regular oats. 5 minutes baby. That stuff is shit. I compared today. More fat, more calories, less protein, less fiber then regular. Plus a bunch of additives. The regular is only rolled oats. You know I will make it for u. Just try it. I threw in some protein last night and I didn't even need the splenda.

I didn't say it tasted better. Just better for you. I prefer your way but remember...we're building a champion.

do not sub with milk as you are adding sugar which = bad for pre-contest prep

i also heard that dairy products put a thin layer of surface fat under your skin, very bad for contest prep.

I throw a couple of scoops of whey, a scoop of ground rolled oats, some flavoring, 10g of MCT powder, and some xanthanm gum in the blender with 16oz crushed ice & water.
The xanthan gum thickens it enough to suspend the oats in the shake so they don't settle, and the ice and MCT help to make it creamy.
I will use this for a breakfast shake, or use just one scoop of whey in the shake to add protein to my egg white/egg beaters breakfast I'm eating
