Pan's is also a foreign film however, so if you hate subtitles, you may not like it. But once you start watching it, you really don't even see the subs anymore.

i fully respect guillermo del toro's reasoning behind the subtitles too, he wanted everyone to experience it in the original language and refused to have it dubbed since the dubbing would detract from the performance of those involved

I may have to see it since you keep going on about it.

The Hills have eyes 2 - not good.

The Mad - pretty funny (horror/comedy)

I have Nightmares in a Damaged Brain here, did you ever see that Carl?

havent even heard of it, was it good? I picked up the following at the horror convention last weekend

When a Stranger Calls (original)
The Prowler (this was badass, the story was crap but the movie is a classic slasher)
Inferno (this will take a second watch, the story is non-linear so it was confusing until i read that it is a work of pure aesthetic by Argento)
Masters of Horror:
-Deer woman (9/10)
-Sick Girl (7/10)
-Pro-Life (7/10)
-Imprint (9/10)

Also just saw Argento's "Tenebrae" and I highly recommend it to anyone, it is a classic giallo murder suspense movie but the twists are so expected that theyre unexpected

I don't know if any of you watched this over the weekend, but I just read some really bad reviews of BUG with Ashley Judd. Around 98% said the movie was horrible, but Ashley Judd does get naked in it, so it cant be all bad.

judging by the previews and trailer you couldnt pay me to watch it, im not the least bit interested in it (well up until you mentioned the ashley judd part). Im probably going to get crap for this but I so unbelievably dont care about Resident Evil 3, are you guys looking forward to it? The resident evil games scared the living crap out of me and I couldnt play the original in the dark, but the movies are foo foo action movies will little to zero scare factor, and Mila is waaay overrated and cant act her way out of a wet paper bag. How could they make this series even worse? Put it in a desert and only film in broad daylight. If they would have based the original movie more on the video game (which played out like a movie anyways) and relied more on suspense and not boring action I think the series would have been much MUCH better

man, one of the coolest horror movies I have seen in a while was somthing I cant remember the name of......I think I saw it over spring break which would have been around Easter time, before easter this year....

It was on the Stars channels.

It was about 4-5 guys that go to do some work at this old asylum, where they were I think taking care of an abestos problem. Either the spirit of some seriously ill person was possessing these guys, or it was one of the guys on the crew was himself seriously deranged. I would have to see it again...

All I know is, its the only movie that gave me the genuine creeps in a long time. If you like horror movies, I would def check it out.....Its a solid B-b+ B movie

Are they seriously making a Saw 4? They got progressively worse, how bad can this one be?

I guess it would be hard to beat the original, since you know what to expect, but I think they could do more.

Jesus, they're making a Saw V as well. I guess if you're making money....

I really hope they do a better job in these next two, even though I'll watch 'em anyway, so they don't have too.

What about "Mr. Brooks", with Kevin Costner?

Any desire to see it?

I like the fact that Costner is playing a "bad" guy. I don't know about it being a "Horror" movie, but suspenseful none the less.

I need to see both of those. Speaking of Demi, whatever you do, don't watch 'Half Light'.

I might watch Hostel 2 tonight....

My mom in law saw Mr Brooks and said it was ok, but normally she tells me crappy movies are great so its hard to gauge how good a movie can be based on her opinion

Shawnee Smith was at the convention and she will be reprising her role as amanda in both Saw IV and V, but she wouldnt give out any other information. Saw was great but Saw II i didnt like at all, however I thought that Saw III was the best of the series and was a perfect bookend for the first three films, plus the gore was pretty extreme

Chris and Chris, did you guys grab copies that are already floating around of the workprints?! I heard people are selling them on the streets of LA too?

I also heard Half-Light was the worst film around, whats it about Red?
