About The Pre-Contest Suite

Most of us here have been to a show or seen the pics in muscle rags of bodybuilders in prime condition. Unbelievably low bodyfat levels, rippling musculature, straitions that look like they have been etched with a chisel, skin as taut as a drum...damn, now those guys and gals look good! But, as we all know, and as those of us who have competed know far too well, behind that contest prime conditioning lie weeks and weeks of tough preparation, usually highlighted by repeated daily feeds of the same dreary foods, which usually starts off by being incredibly boring at best to being absolutely nauseating at worst. Just ask anyone who has prepped or is prepping for a show the way it should be prepped for - just watch out while you do, some of the may just go low carb on your ass.

Hopefully, this forum can bring out some of the culinary artists in our midst to the fore, whereby, with the merest of ingredients and the application of much imagination, they can show all the rest of us cuisine-challenged individuals an easier way to get to big day without going mental in the process.

Let the low carb recipes flow!

Pancakes! Yes . . I said pancakes. Ok, so they aren't realy pancakes, but they look like them and taste awsome!

1/2 cup egg white
4tbs. vanilla protien powder
4 tbs. flax seed (optional)

mix well and pour into a small skillet, let cook on low heat untill firm, flip over to finish cooking the other side. I top mine with a 1/4 cup mixed berries and 2tbs. fat free cool whip!

You can adjust the protien and eggs amounts to fit your needs . . just as long as it is still "pancake batter consistancy"

I have ate it for about 2 monthes (every morning except Sunday) and still LOVE it!
