Hi everyone! I'm Jen, 25, training for my first ever competition in July. I'm totally nervous and have no idea what to think. I really like working out, i have done sports my entire life, so being in shape is a place i love to be HOWEVER i've had plenty of fat days. I'm really excited to see where i can take my body with some discipline and consistent work in the gym! I am a sugar-aholic so the diet has been hard since sugar is my thing. Not going out to eat with friends as a social thing has been hard as i am a total social butterfly!

I am a massage therapist, practicing for 5 years now. My boyfriend loves the gym, is there all the time and keeps me motivated. I am working with Cameron and Trace for this competition. They have been helping so much, as i have literally no idea what i am doing. We practiced posing for the first time the other day...that was fun ;o)

SO, feedback would be fun, i'm so interested in what other people are doing!

Yea!!!!Posing together will be fun!!! I have not started yet...VERY SOON! I have not worked with Trace and Cam before, but I have only heard stellar things about them. I mentioned them to my cousin (he's a bodybuilder) and I heard nothing but praise! This will also be my FIRST comp. so were in this thing as newbies together This will be super fun! Have you started a journal?

i'm not that good at the journal thing. I do the best i can to check in with cam and tracy everynight, or every other night. The diet was hard in the beginning but has really been good so far...i just do what they say until something changes. Send in pics and weights weekly and they assess...i've just made it all a part of my life, and some days are harder than others because i get moody when i can't eat what i want, but i'm learning to eat to survive and train versus eating emotionally. Overall its been really good. I keep track of all my workouts in a notebook to track progress, but i just don't have lots of spare time to write it all down on the computer, i probably should...

Hi all! I am new to the board and just wanted to introduce myself to those of you who do not already know me. My name is Heather, I am in my 30's, and a stay at home mom of a 2 1/2 year old and a 4 month old (both girls). I got into training about 7 years ago to impress my now husband, Musclebelly, who was getting ready for his first bb show ever!
Unlike most of you...I have never competed nor do I plan to (I will leave that to all of you wonderful women). Usually it is enough work to support, diet, and train with my husband during his competitions. I totally admire what it takes to do any shows and know the dedication and the hard work you all put into it! And I will be there cheering you all on!
My goal right now is to regain my pre-baby body (boy do I miss it). Until around a month ago I hadn't stepped foot in the gym since I got pregnant with my first daughter, and 2 pregnancies back to back have left a lot to be desired! I think that this is harder than the first time I walked into a gym because then I didn't know what I was missing. Now I am back to square one with little to no strength, which is so frustrating, and a body that I can't wait to crawl out of.
But...I am ready to shed the lbs and look half as wonderful as you all do!!! Wish me luck on my journey, and I am looking forward to the insperation that being here will bring!

Just a little back ground on mrs musclebelly from musclebelly. She is a fantastic wife and mother of two very beautiful girls. She is the strongest, most giving, caring, and wonderful women I have ever met. She often times does not give herself enough credit for everything she has accomplished. She used to work out with me all the time and has been through more then her fair share of contest preps with me. Her goal more then anything with her physique is to be a hot MILF and we will get her there together. She will crawl out I will see to it, I will stand by you the entire way as yopu have stood by me.

love ya-
me

Thanks Heather. That's so sweet of you. Made my heart melt.

So we'll be staying at the Embassy Suite which is also the host hotel.

I saw Sissy last night at the gym, and WOW! She is looking really awesome! She showed me her abs and I was a tiny bit jealous because she's got abs! And I've got ONE big ab. Seriously!

And her guns! Very nice!
