PWO, the shake should always be first....then wait about an hour....if its just a morning shake, an hour before is fine.

Yeah, it's the morning breakfast shake. Are you saying it's best to have the herbal caps + psyllium + charcoal an hour beforehand (on an empty stomach)?

Is Fiber Sure an appropriate substitute for psyllium husk? Its made from inulin, and is says it is all soluable fiber.

I've never noticed that it matters. Just don't take the charcoal and your other supps at the same time (unless you like wasting money).

Hey guys -- wanted to thank everyone who put this info down in such a clear way. I actually did a Google search and came to this thread as I dug deep, and my questions were answered.

I started the stack last Tuesday, and was actually going to post how I was not seeing results.......but that changed this morning. Maybe I was late to kick in or something, but now I know what you guys are talking about. Felt great

Hey guys, I'm looking to start this up soon and had a quick question about the herbal pills. Is the main ingredient to look for the senna? I noticed some have alot of ingredients while this one( http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/e...jsp?id=MD-1003 ) has the senna and only a few other ingredients.

senna is basically an herbal laxative. some other flushes use a senna leaf tea @ night, and it is because of its natural laxative qualities. i only mentioned it because the tabs @ my store in town were missing the senna and i opted to add it in separately.

i just looked @ heck's link and i think those are the same herbals i used. i didn't see senna in it, so it is optional if you want to buy the NOW senna for $6 or whatever it is. The key w/ those herbals is that there are 275 in the bottle, which is PLENTY and you won't be buying extras

I've purchased everything i need but I have a few questions:

I currently take prozac and do not want flush to take that out my system. When should I take that pill versus the flush stuff? In the same vein when should vitamins and other supplements be taken.

I usually start the day with a protein shake and end the day with a protein shake. I know I can't mix the flush with the protein shake so when should I time these shakes?

In teh past week my 3-bean chili has had me pooping non stop to the point I wiped raw. Did anyone experience this with the flush?

Also I got the swiss kriss herbal laxative and only just noticed a different one recommended. does it matter which herbal laxative I use?

If you take the prozac in the morning, leave yourself about an hour and a half before or after you take it to do the cleanse..

You can take the cleanse anytime after the protein shake...not a problem there..

This flush is very gentle for most....stop eating the freaking chili bro!

swiss kriss isn't my first choice, but they will do ok...

yes, you can take the protein and then down the shake...wait a few minutes at least...

I prefer the natures secret "multi herb" instead of swiss kriss...just my preference...

Well, I've been on the flush since thursday (2/28) and I must say I feel much better GI-wise than I usually do/did. I take the cleanse just before bed and on my way out the door for work. If that's working for me, is there any reason to change it? Right now I'm still on 1tsp of the husks, 2 charcoal caps, 2 herbal caps and 1 senna cap for good measure. I was doing 2 senna caps twice a day to get things going but I found that it loosened things up too much and gave me stomach cramps so I backed off to 1 cap twice a day. So far, I've noted a change for the better with that adjustment.

So far I've noticed my poop doesn't stink so bad, I'm farting a lot less and I seem to "empty out" every time I go which is a great feeling. I do go a bit more often per day (4-5 times) than I used to (2-3 times), with the majority being in the morning hours . My BM's are certainly more voluminous too, and a bit "fluffy" in consistency lol. still definitely solid though.

ok, enough of that...bottom line is I feel much better and I look forward to feeling even better and more cleansed in the coming weeks.
