How far out do you stop creatine?

I'm prepping for my first contest, and I was curious when you should stop ingesting creatine to prevent retention. I find that creatine is keeping me hard and helps with my workouts as well as helps my health while I am in a calorie reduction.

If you find that it causes no water retention, I would leave it in. However, you might not be tuned into that since this is your first show...(?)

Its useful when you're carbing up, potentially, but this all depends on how you do that. The diff. prep strategies are too complicated for a simple answer, but if you want the basic water retainining (sub q) effect to be gone, I would give it a few days. You will stay creatine loaded for several weeks thereafter, which will help keep you full.
