I remember sitting with Gary Franks and Dave Tate at the '04 APF Seniors and Gary says,"Hey, you know all that sled dragging you guys do?" Dave says,"Yeah." Gary sticks out his arm with his thumb down and goes,"Fuck that shit." I laughed my ass off.

I used this schedule to add sleding in with no overtraining issues. I erred a the side of doing a little less and taking alittle longer to work into it so I was safe. Mind you I am moving half the weight, if that, future and LH. I love it.

dBAG thats what I did, since IA is my trainer I didnt just GO GO GO with the sled pulling, we started out with the 7.5 minutes 2 x a week, I am now up to 20 minutes with 90lbs on the sled +sled weight (55 lbs) and do that twice a week. If I miss a lowerbody workout for some reason (lowerback hurts, time, ect) I will pull the sled HEAVY with about 275 lbs for 4 50 yrd passes. ZERO lower back pain/pumps (as long as you dont lean forward toooo much try to stay as upright as possible) and DAMN its a great leg workout.

Yeah, I work with IA as well. started at 5 minutes 2xWeek, and have been at 15-20 mins 3 times a week for a few months now. I recently changed to two handles, instead of through the belt. Seems to helping with the upper body a little as well.
