Figure comp in March. On the right track?

Hey, this is a great section to have! So I'm not competing unitl March. I'm trying to put on some muscle now and will cut starting in Dec or Jan. I really really want my shoulders and arms to get some shape. I'm tough let me have it...Do you think I can be ready?

Sorry pics wont rotate??

AAakkkkk, you're sideways!!! :p

I'd say........heavy weights, low reps to add some size. You need a little in the shoulders, arms & back to balance yourself out. (I have the same shape.)
When you diet down, I think you will be in balance.
Oh....bring your arms down a bit -- don't hold them so high.

Thanks very much for your reply. I meet with my trainer today for the first time so hopefully we can get a program together to bring those areas up. Thanks again.

Good luck with your training, gymgrl. You look like you have a good foundation. KRL knows what she's talking about, it's safe to follow her advice. Keep lifting and keep us up to date on your progress.

Hey - The ladies above nailed it. Good luck on the prep!!

This is just a small detail for later in your prep, but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't be the girl who didn't practice walking in the heels. There usually is always one in the bunch, and while she stumbles around (and my heart DOES go out to her) she knew the day was coming and she should have walked around the house in them to get comfortable. Those things are tough to walk in smoothly without practice. (...from what I hear. I swear, Ive never tried it myself. Really. No really!)

Practice, practice, practice!
Best wishes!!
SM
